If there are changes in the number of students in your booking, please make a call with us during our opening hours.
If the number of students attending the course is less than the number of students in your booking, an extra fee will be charged for the variation depending on the number of differences.
In our academy, you can experience the uniqueness of making your own pottery as a gift for yourself, your family, or your friends.
We hope you get the best comprehension of the skills and knowledge of pottery, therefore one session will be divided into two stages, creating and glazing your own pottery.
Our instructors will demonstrate how to create pottery step by step. You can also communicate with your instructor instantly if you have any questions.
We aim to create a pottery academy with a fun atmosphere. There are complementary patterns and professional tools to help complete the course.

What you have to know about our courses
Time: 2 hours each session, cleaning time included. it may vary, depending on different learning situations in the session Age: above 12 years old (including 12 years old) Location: 1F., No. 40, Ln. 181, Sec. 4, Zhongxiao E. Rd., Da’an Dist., Taipei City 106, Taiwan (R.O.C.)w
Transportation: Take the MRT to the「Zhongxiao Dunhua」Station, and follow the exit「1」. The walking distance to Round Round from Zhongxiao Dunhua Station is about 3 minutes
Fee: The course fee includes: instructions on making pottery, glazing, materials, tools, and the firing process. If you have created two pieces within a single course, an extra fee is required for the second finished piece to be fired.
Registration: you are welcome to attend our course even if you are an individual student. If there is any unpredictable situation that causes the cancellation of the course, we will inform you in advance and reschedule it to a suitable time.
To ensure each students’ rights, unfortunately, we don’t allow accompanies if they aren’t attending the course, nor cooperate which multiple people to work on the same piece.
Notes of the course:
1. There are 2 stages included in a single course, creating pottery, and glazing them, hence, it is required to book a glazing appointment about 3 weeks after creating the piece from clay.
2. During the firing process, there may be cracks due to the form of the clay not being firm enough during the making stage. if this happens. we will inform you spontaneously by having a call.
3. The final firing process will be completed two weeks after glazing, therefore, you can choose to pick up your pottery in person or to receive it by a paid delivery.

How we respond to Covid-19
We sanitize the door handles, the front desk, the cashier counter, the teaching desks, the facilities, and all areas regularly. We welcome you to come to Round Round without worries.
Customers are also required to fill up a list with some personal information to track back if needed.
We will also measure your body temperature, and sanitize both hands when you enter Round Round.
Instructors and assistants will put on masks during the whole course. Students are also required to put on their masks. ( please make sure to bring your own masks)
If your body temperature is higher than 37.5 degrees or appears to have the symptoms of covid-19, please find medical help or stay home to rest. We welcome you to visit us again later on.
All courses, excepting the parent & children ones, are for ages above 12 years old.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior, the course starts on time.
Please stay in the reception area If you need to eat or drink. Food and drinks are not allowed to be brought to the teaching area.
Please recycle the trash to protect our environment and keep the earth a better place for the next generation.
There are natural gaps on our wooden floor, please avoid wearing thin heeled shoes.
If you attend the wheel throwing pottery session, we suggest that students wear comfortable pants in order to fit in our seats in the wheel throwing area.
To ensure each student’s rights, it is advised that you don’t come with kids or pets.
For your convenience to make pottery, please trim your nails properly before coming to class.
There are several procedures to complete the final pottery piece, such as drying up, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. The entire process will last 1 to 1.5 months.If you have special requirements, such as sending pottery as a gift on time or acquiring your pottery at a specific time, please plan your course ahead of time with consideration.
All items on the shelves in the store are fragile. Please refrain from touching the goods or artwork without assistance. If you wish to purchase or experience anything, our staff and team members are more than happy to help. If you accidentally damage any goods or works, you will have to compensate for it at its original price.
The nature of handmade artistry is inherently different from factory-produced goods. There‘s a chance they might crack or deform during the drying and firing process. In our commitment to promoting the art of pottery, we promise to transparently communicate any changes that may occur during each stage of the process and provide appropriate suggestions. We encourage you not to pressure yourself excessively regarding your craft skills. Instead, feel free to relax and immerse yourself in the joy of learning and participating in our classes.
・Refund：There is no refund once you have successfully booked the course, but you can reschedule the booking under force-majeure circumstances
・To make changes in your booking:
If you need to reschedule the date of your booking for personal reasons, please inform us 5 days before the course. You can also transit your reservation to others if you find someone to fill in the spot for you.
If a reservation is changed with less than 5 days’ notice, a 10% service fee will be charged.
We will inform you if the courses are rescheduled or canceled due to irresistible factors, such as natural disasters.
If you want to know whether your course is canceled on a typhoon day, please follow the announcement from the Taipei government. If you are located in other areas that have received an announcement of closing schools and offices, please make a call or send an email to reschedule the course to us.
If there is an emergency, Round Round has the reserved rights to reschedule all courses, we are sorry if this happens and kindly ask you to cooperate with us.
